Part of the group exhibition "10 Jahre Hören ist Sehen"
at the Museum Györ, Hungary 2006
Project details
Installation with two endless loop tape recorders. Two tape recorders continuously playing two endless tapes in an empty grey painted room. One recorder represents Julia who calls „Pst - Romeo!“, the other is Romeo answering with the sigh „Oh my Juliet!“. The Installation deals with the duality of man and woman united as a loving couple and with the insoluble, continuing loneliness of the individual. Two tape recorders are condamned to call and respond endlessly to one another without being allowed to experience any further development beyond this point.
